I have been on this earth for almost 70 years now. Sometimes I stayed current on the day to day political side of the news…sometimes not so much. Sans my 5 children, career issues, family issues and other things that occupy one’s mind, I have time to ingest the 24/7 news of the day. It’s bullshit!
News is no longer available in it’s factual concise form. No longer are we permitted to get the facts objectively and make our own judgement on good or bad, right or wrong, acceptable or not. We have others opinions shoved down our throats every minute of every day. Social media steers us like rats in a maze. Exposes us only to their prescribed dosage of truth or partial truth in order to mold our thinking to their agenda.
“Just the facts” is no longer available. We are in trouble. If we don’t wise up and teach our children the history, accomplishments and failures of this great nation, we will lose it. Pick a small endeavor and make this happen in your family, neighborhood, town and state. Getting back to a moral and tolerant exchange of ideas is better than this bullshit!
